Wondering who is the best fit for you?

Assistant Coaches and Interns

Trin Collins (they/them/theirs)

Personal Trainer

Trin is deeply passionate about learning and, in some cases, re-learning how to take care of one’s well-being. As the social media and community relationships coordinator, Trin became intrigued by the countless clients who rave about the Monarch Method. Wondering if Monarch Fitness Coaching could have a transformative impact on the chronic joint pain that often interfered with the life Trin wanted to lead, they decided to become a client. The improvement in daily function was undeniable after just a short time in the program. Trin felt the pain significantly diminished, motivating them to become a coach and assist others in their journey towards pain-free and joyful movement.

Education and Certifications:

  • The Monarch Method: Personal Training, Group Personal Training
  • Personal Training: ASFA
  • Research Assistant in Learning Sciences, Northwestern University
  • BS in history, Northwestern University

Matt Little (he/him/his)

Personal Trainer

Matt grew up in a multi-generational home where his mother worked as a hospice nurse, providing compassionate end-of-life care for her patients. As an ETHS starting quarterback and a Division 1 dual-threat quarterback, Matt brought that same level of care and advocacy to the football field, prioritizing his teammates’ safety and well-being. He understands that small adjustments in both movement and behavior create game-changing impacts. Matt’s background in music composition, and his current work as a sound engineer, reinforce his belief that minor changes can lead to significant benefits.

Education and Certifications:

  • Personal Training: ASFA
  • Columbia and Jackson State: Music Production and Composition
  • Western Michigan: Finance/Accounting
