Q and A with John
What brought you to train with Monarch Fitness Coaching? What changes have you noticed since starting training?
I started training with Monarch Fitness Coaching so I could do all the activities, like traveling or hiking, that Kathy, my wife, and I planned for retirement. Since beginning our fitness journey, I’ve noticed a newfound ease in my daily life. For example, I don’t get sore after running around all day at work.
Why did you and your wife, Kathy, choose to train together at Monarch Fitness Coaching?
Kathy and I knew that we needed a lifestyle switch and the change wouldn’t be possible by ourselves, so we joined Monarch Fitness Coaching. Training together keeps us accountable to our shared goals. Since Monarch Fitness Coaching is completely customizable, Kathy and I are able to receive personalized training programs while having the same schedule.
You have worked with other trainers and followed other programs. What makes Monarch Fitness Coaching different?
The emphasis on form is key for me. I also love how individualized my plan is. Heather takes the time to listen to me and learn about my goals and concerns, and then constructs a plan specifically designed to help me achieve them. My plan is modified as my goals change. This was especially important as I worked my way through some nagging injuries.
Since beginning training with Monarch Fitness Coaching, what areas have you seen the most improvement in?
I have noticed a big improvement in my stability, my overall awareness of my body in space, and how to make my muscles work better for me.
